Looking to get shots up but haven’t found an open court in the Los Angeles area? We got your back. We’ve scouted out all outdoor basketball courts around L.A. to figure out which ones are currently open (with hoops & rims) and have put together this running list for the community.

Watts Oasis

WATTS - SANTA ANA BLVD.

Check out the Watts Oasis on Santa Ana Blvd. right next to the St. Johns Church. This court was refurbished and decorated in a mosaic style, making it one of the most unique courts in Los Angeles.

North Hollywood Recreation

NORTH HOLLYWOOD - CHANDLER BLVD.

Check out the basketball hoops at North Hollywood Recreation Center. However, these courts can often get crowded so please make sure you attend during off hours, bring your own ball, and only play within your pod.

38th Street Park

NEWPORT BEACH - W BALBOA BLVD.

Check out the full size basketball court at 38 Street Park in Newport Beach! This court is surrounded by palm trees and the ocean breeze. After hooping, take a short walk over to the water to get a natural ice bath in the Pacific Ocean, your knees will thank you later.

Andulka Park

RIVERSIDE - CHICAGO AVE.

Check out the two full size basketball courts at Andulka Park in Riverside. The thick double rims can only improve your shot, and the hoops are even padded to protect you when you go hard to the hoop.

Spirit Park

MENIFEE - NEWPORT RD.

Spirit Park in Menifee has two full size basketball courts with four hoops to shoot on. This court also has lights and is another great spot to get work in after the sun goes down.

Shadow Oak Park

WEST COVINA - SHADOW OAK DRIVE

Check out Shadow Oak Park in West Covina! This full size court is surrounded by a fence, so you won’t have to worry about chasing your ball after a bad miss.

Steve Soboroff Court Park

CULVER GARDEN - W. CENTINELA AVE.

Check out the basketball court at Steve Soboroff Park behind the Clippers Training Center! These hoops have massive back boards, making this park a great spot to perfect your layup package. However, these courts are privately owned and there is a chance security will kick you off.

LaFayette Park

Check out the full size basketball court at LaFayette Park in Rampart Village! This park has a great full size basketball court.

The Playa Vista Condo Development

PLAYA VISTA - BLUFF CREEK DR.

Check out the basketball courts at the Playa Vista Condo Development! These are incredible quality courts with great rims and backboards.

Toberman Park

PICO UNION - S. UNION AVE.

Check out the court at Toberman Park in Central Los Angeles. The basketball hoops might not have nets but at least the rims are up!

Bolsa Chica State Beach

Check out the full basketball court at Bolsa Chica State Beach! This is a dope spot to get some shots up if it’s not too windy!

OPEN Soccer Fields with NETS in San Francisco!

Soccer is one of the most popular sports in the Bay Area. With ample fields, lawns, meadows and green spaces in the most park-friendly city in the country, San Francisco has got tons of spots for any level player to go dribble, shoot and play soccer with their household! In this piece, we’ll be showing you spots with Goals/Nets on-site so all you need to bring is your cleats and a ball to get going!

Raymond Kimbell Playground

Fillmore District - Geary Boulevard

Raymond Kimbell is a classic spot for San Francisco recreationists. You’ll find all sorts of activities happening on the field, including soccer and other soccer.-related games. In this picture you can see some visitors playing soccer-pong! Or foot-tennis? Volley-soccer? Whatever it is, it looks fun!

Mission Playground

Mission Playground has a nice little turf field hidden in its urban park. Fences help with ball loss prevention and lights allow for night play! This field is frequented fairly regularly, so get there early!

Margaret Hayward Playground

The brand new Margaret Hayward facility sports a new turf field space complete with goals and lights! The lines are already formed on the pitch and there’s plenty of space to spread out. There’s even a smaller field adjacent to the basketball courts and the playground/rec. center for more play space.

Beach Chalet Fields

The Beach Chalet fields are stunning. It doesn’t get much better than standing across from the Pacific Ocean at the western edge of Golden Gate Park. With 4 full size fields and lots of goals to share, it’s easy to stay at a safe distance from other people and get your play in!

West Sunset Upper Field

All SF soccer players who played in their youth have fond memories of the West Sunset fields. The grass field gets wet and it gets muddy, so come prepared. But it’s also soft and forgiving on the joints!

South Sunset Playground Field

South Sunset Fields sport two full soccer fields directly adjacent to the South Sunset Playground. This is an awesome recreation area with opportunities to do almost any sport you can think of. Bundle up, it can get cold out here!

Crocker-Amazon Soccer Fields

The Crocker-Amazon Soccer Fields sits at the edge of McLaren Park in the southern part of San Francisco. It’s a massive sports complex with multiple fields, strong lights and loads of open space. There’s a parking lot with ample spots for many groups to use the fields at the same time.

Silver Terrace Playground

Portola - silver avenue

A bustling neighborhood staple, Silver Terrace Playground can often be found with many recreationists using almost every square inch of this space. The soccer fields have relatively new turf and clear lines with bright lights for night play. Get there early to play safely!

Garfield Square Field

Mission district - 25th street

A smaller field in the middle of the mission, Garfield Square Field features brand new turf after being closed for renovations on the adjoining Garfield Pool. Be one of the first to use the brand new field — just don’t kick any balls over the fence!

Check out the basketball court at the Multnomah Arts Center! The court is fully covered and the perfect spot to play during the rainy season.

Sei Building

BOISE - N. KERBY AVE.

The Sei Building in Boise has two full-size basketball courts!

Wallace Park

NORTHWEST DISTRICT - NW. RALEIGH ST.

Check out the two full-size basketball courts at Wallace Park! The red top cement court is a great spot to work on your game in the Northwest District.

Peninsula Park

PIEDMONT - N. ROSA PARKS WAY

Check out the two hoops at Peninsula Park! The rims and backboards are a bit run down but it is still a great spot to get shots up!

Mt. Tabor

MT. TABOR - SE. SALMON WAY

Mt. Tabor has one of the most beautiful basketball courts in the world! The court is surrounded by huge trees and incredible greenery, making it a dope spot to get shots up.

Powell Park

BROOKLYN - SE. POWELL BLVD.

Check out the basketball hoops at Powell Park! There are plenty of hoops which should make it easier to social distance from other players at the park and play safely.

Clinton City Park

SOUTH TABOR - SE. DIVISION ST.

Check out the two full size basketball courts at Clinton City Park in South Tabor.

Alberta Park

VERNON - NE. 19TH AVE.

Alberta Park has two full size basketball courts fully covered by an overhang! This is a dope spot to play basketball, with six total hoops. However, the courts can often be crowded. Please make sure that you bring your own equipment and social distance while you play.

Irving Park

IRVINGTON - NE FREMONT ST.

Check out the basketball courts at Irving Park! There are plenty of hoops which makes this a great spot to socially distance while working on your game.
